SUMMARY:Leverage Supercomputing Resources for Research and Education with ACCESS & NAIRR
DESCRIPTION:Come get an orientation to the NSF-funded ACCESS program that makes cyberinfrastructure (CI) resources available to U.S.-based researchers and educators for free. The presentation walks through ACCESS’s tiered allocation request process and utilization metrics (spoiler alerts: over 90% are approved at their first request and typically under 1 business day)\, and covers the human expertise underlying CI. The presentation will also touch on eligibility\, proposal requirements\, and the mix of resources (CPU\, GPU\, storage\, etc.) available. \nSpeaker: \nStephen Deems\nDirector\, Research Infrastructure Operations – Internet2\nMember of ACCESS Allocations team
