As a computational researcher, it can be essential to know how to use version control in order to run other people’s code or to develop code as part of a multi-person development team. Git is one software tool for version control that helps users manage software and software changes over time. This workshop will introduce users to the fundamental concepts of version control and how to use Git on the command line.
