Originally from Bremen, Germany, Cornel has enjoyed a professional life working in a range of distinctive locations, especially including Los Angeles and Singapore.

Cornel is the author of the newly updated second edition of his UX for XR, a practical guide to designing for extended reality that explores mixed reality, spatial computing, AI-assisted design, WebXR, and emerging immersive technologies. Through his consulting, writing, and workshops, he helps designers and organizations navigate the evolving landscape of XR and experience design.
